“I entered the MFA program ready to change, ready to grow. I think that if you step into the program with that kind of openness, there is exceptional guidance available… I am so grateful for my MFA experience at AULA. It was transformative for me as a writer, mostly because my mentors were so exceptional.”

Jillian is a performer, author, and blogger whose work includes the New York Times bestselling memoir “Some Girls: My Life in a Harem,” the novel “Pretty,” and articles for the Paris Review, the New York Times, Vanity Fair, and Los Angeles Magazine. Jillian’s interests include Argentine tango dance, unapologetic mom-blogging, and running a marathon someday.
