I’m Beth Mabry. I’m a sociologist on the faculty at the Graduate School of Leadership and Change. I work with students a lot around their research and using research to inform their practice.
Antioch University’s PhD in Leadership and Change prepares students to lead in many fields. Recently, we caught up with six alumni who are making positive changes in higher education.
This June, we celebrate Pride Month by commemorating and lifting up the voices and stories of remarkable individuals whose groundbreaking efforts have forged a path forward in the ongoing struggle for LGBTQIA+ rights and visibility.
Since our founding 1852, Antioch University has remained on the forefront of social justice, inclusion, and equality – regardless of ethnicity, gender, creed, orientation, focus of study, or ability.
Antiochians actively reflect these shared values to inspire positive change in the world. Common Thread is where we document the stories that showcase our communities actions, so the change we work for can be shared widely.
