Learn how to craft an effective resume and cover letter at this free May 22 workshop led by Sue Gentile. It will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 22, at a location to be announced.
The workshop is taught by Sue Gentile, who teaches courses in environmental studies and education at AUNE and in the Urban Sustainability Master of Arts program at Antioch University Los Angeles. She is the managing editor of Whole Terrain, AUNE’s annual journal of reflective environmental practice.
As a hiring administrator, Sue has a wealth of experience in advising graduate students on career planning and reviewing resumes and cover letters, and has facilitated the resume and cover letter workshop for two years. She serves on the boards of several organizations, including the U.S. Partnership for Education for Sustainable Development, Four Rivers Public Charter School, and Ecology Education Inc.
Past participants have gotten a better understanding of cover letters and resumes and more confidence in refining their own from the workshop. Bring five copies of your current resume and five copies of a cover letter you have written (if you have one) to the workshop.
The workshop is free but registration is requested. Email your name, department, and contact information to Cindy Snow, [email protected].
