Antioch University Midwest (AUM) announces the hire of Arlyn R. Love as Director of Enrollment Services. Love comes to AUM from Eastern Oregon University (La Grande, OR) where he held the position of the Director of Admissions. He assumed his new role effective, Monday, January 12, 2015.
“I am very pleased that Arlyn Love will be joining the Antioch Midwest community,” said Ron Brown, vice chancellor of enrollment services. “Over the years, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to students as they embarked on their journey in higher education. We are excited for the upcoming year as he brings that same dedication to our campus and the surrounding communities.”
In his new position, Love will be leading, managing, and implementing the strategic, innovative plans and goals shared by AUM’s recruitment, admission, and retention services team. He will oversee the fulfillment goals cited in AUM’s short and long-term growth strategies. Love will also be a part of the Student Services Team, which includes representatives from AUM’s Marketing Department, Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid Department, and various other faculty and staff. This role collaborates with the university’s Vice Chancellor of Enrollment to ensure and optimize the University’s shared enrollment services goals.
In addition, Love will represent AUM at conferences, panels, and programs as they relate to the university’s enrollment services.
As the new Director of Enrollment Services, Love will continue to encourage individuals to find his/her learning passions and further their education to fulfill their aspirations. Love finds fulfillment through creating and nurturing a compassionate and committed team that tirelessly serves students.
Prior to his role at Eastern Oregon University, Love was the Director of Admissions (Transfers) at Graceland University (Lamoni, IA). At Graceland, he also assumed the roles of Assistant Director of Admissions/Transfer Specialist and Senior Admissions Field Officer. Love received his MBA, with a concentration in Marketing, from Marylhurst University (Marylhurst, OR) and earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science with minors in Business Administration and Religion from Graceland University.
