Dr. Kathi Borden Has Been Named Associate Editor of APA Journal

Dr. Kathi A. Borden, Chair of the Clinical Psychology Department, just started a three-year term as associate editor of the APA journal, Professional Psychology: Research and Practice.

Dr. Borden served on the Program Planning Committee for the midwinter conference of the National Council of Schools and Programs of Professional Psychology (NCSPP). The meeting was entitled, “Excellence in Outcome Assessment: Ideas, Tools, and Practices,” and was held in New Orleans, LA.

Dr. Borden also ran a workshop at the conference with Dr. E. John McIlvried of the University of Indianapolis entitled, “Putting the Pieces Together: Connecting Mission, Goals, Objectives, Competencies, and Curriculum,” and Dr. Roger Peterson, our previous department chair, led a discussion on “Assessing the Research and Evaluation Competency.”

Dr. Borden and Dr. Peterson are both past presidents of NCSPP.


Counseling and Collaboration in Western Massachusetts

Susan M. Quigley, PsyD and Elaine F. Campbell, PsyD, both graduated from Antioch New England’s Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program in 1999. They supported each other through their studies and collaborated on their doctoral dissertations. Over the years they’ve maintained a professional exchange and friendship that is a testament to its beginnings at Antioch.
