Michele Losee, an AUNE doctoral student in Environmental Studies, is raising money through the crowdfunding site Rockethub to fund her research on golden eagles in Arizona. Not only does she have a Rockethub campaign going, but her effort earned a mention in the December 2013 issue of high-profile Wired magazine.
Michele is studying the Arizona habitat and range of golden eagles, of which little is known. Help her out and you’ll be acknowledged in her published work. If you REALLY help her out, you’ll be invited to spend a day hawk hunting with Michele, an experienced falconer and raptor ecologist.
