Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student Attends National Conference

Anthony Parmenter, a student in the clinical mental health counseling program, met keynote speaker Soledad O’Brien while attending the American Counseling Association (ACA) national conference in New Orleans in March.

Parmenter had this to say about the conference, and his time at Antioch University New England:

“Learning through experience is something that I highly value. Throughout my time at Antioch University New England, faculty have emphasized the importance of taking an active role in professional organizations.

I’ve recognized that importance as a volunteer for ACA conferences in 2010 and 2011, which has allowed me to connect to others and grow in many new and profound ways. Direct involvement in ACA, as well as other organizations, has provided fun and meaningful opportunities to develop personally and as a counselor.”

International Day of Forests

“If you love a tree, you will be more beautiful than before!” – Amit Ray.
