I chose Antioch University because it’s a very cutting-edge school with a lot of fresh ideas. I went back to school later in life. When I’m at AULA, I feel like part of the community – I don’t feel ‘old.’ I love that I went to school here. It was a perfect fit.

Cathy is an intern at an agency that works with children and teens struggling with autism, schizophrenia, emotional disturbance, and/or cognitive delays. Her interests include artistic movies; reading; swimming; enjoying a good, quiet meal (although with children, this is rare!)

Antioch University

Since our founding 1852, Antioch University has remained on the forefront of social justice, inclusion, and equality – regardless of ethnicity, gender, creed, orientation, focus of study, or ability.

Antiochians actively reflect these shared values to inspire positive change in the world. Common Thread is where we document the stories that showcase our communities actions, so the change we work for can be shared widely.
