Blanchard Will Speak at Perinatal Depression Meeting

Amy Blanchard, assistant professor in marriage and family therapy at AUNE, will be a presenter at the New Hampshire Perinatal Depression Learning Collaborative’s winter session on January 27, 2012, in Concord, New Hampshire. Her presentation is called “The Couple Relationship and Perinatal Depression: Considerations for Assessment and Treatment.”

Blanchard started the group with Alison Palmer, perinatal mental health nurse coordinator at Elliot Hospital, Manchester, New Hampshire, and the New Hampshire coordinator for Postpartum Support International. It is an organization of mental health practitioners and medical providers who meet quarterly to discuss issues of perinatal depression.
