AUSB Student Documentary Filmmakers Address Social Justice Issues

Social Justice Documentary Film class - Winter 2016The Bachelor of Arts students in Stanley Roden’s Social Justice Documentary Filmmaking class in Winter 2016 took on such weighty topics as homelessness, domestic violence, addiction, and more in their final films.

Their completed films were shown to the Antioch University Santa Barbara community on March 10 and most have been shared on the AUSB YouTube channel and embedded below.

The students in the class were Ruby Anwar, Kristianne Clifford, Nicole Cohen, Danny Francisco, Farokh Khan, Scarlett McDonald, Travis Spencer, Linda Sturesson, Genevieve Swords, Vegard Vaagnes, Howard Vega, and Maerta Waldrop Bergman.
