A dance performance by students in Antioch University New England’s (AUNE) dance/movement therapy (DMT) and counseling program on Saturday, April 14, will showcase original choreography. The public performance will be held at 7 p.m. at the MoCo Arts Center, 76 Railroad Street, Keene, New Hampshire. Suggested donation is $5. For more information call 603-283-2141.
The performance will also be given for the AUNE community in the Community Room,
Tuesday, April 10, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m.
The dance concert will combine modern and contemporary dance with some belly dance. Student performers will infuse examples of what they are learning and how their dance background can be a benefit as they artistically and psychologically help others. They will honor themselves as performers and express their growth and journey as first- and second-year DMT students.
