Program alumnae, Dr. Carole Isom-Barnes of Huntersville, NC, was recently welcomed as a newly elected member of Antioch University’s Board of Governors. A graduate of the PhD in Leadership and Change program, she obtained her BA from Brandies University and her MA from Queens University. Dr. Isom-Barnes is president of Xperience Leadership, LLC, and is an operational risk manager with Bank of America. Prior to her current roles, she has held the position of adjunct faculty at Queens University instructing in organizational communication. Carole is a results-oriented leader combining twenty-five years of Fortune 100 senior leadership experience and organizational consulting.
Dr. Isom-Barnes’ dissertation addressed the question of whether or not the perception exists that African Americans are disproportionately impacted during layoff periods within corporations. Review her full research here!
