Q&A with Andrea:

What motivated you to pursue your degree?

I started my academic career at Antioch College but didn’t finish due to health reasons. I did other classes at another school, but it wasn’t until I found Antioch University Online I felt at home again.

Who encouraged and supported you?

My Uncle Fred really pushed me to finish my Bachelor’s. He’s now passed, so I did it in his memory.

What was your academic focus at AU Online?

Creativity, leadership, and writing.

What did you enjoy about AU Online?

Loved Joe Cronin! Best advisor ever and a great professor! Professor Lisa Prosek was an amazing writing mentor. Professor Paul Lucas excelled in his leadership course – it was very well structured.

What’s next after Antioch University?

Looking to pursue a graduate degree in filmmaking at University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

Words of advice for future students?

It’s a great program! Everyone should get it done and do it the fun way – online with Antioch!
