Advocacy Writer to Speak Nov. 7 at AUNE

Environmental advocacy writer Will Potter, author of Green Is The New Red: An Insider’s Account of a Social Movement Under Siege, will speak at Antioch University New England, Thursday, November 7. The talk, which will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Community Room, is free and open to the public.

Potter specializes in discussing environmental movements, animal rights, and civil liberties post-9/11. His book explores how environmental and animal activists are increasingly being seen as “eco-terrorists” by the American government.

Come join us for an evening of intriguing discussion and learn about how upcoming legislation in New Hampshire might have a negative impact on animal welfare.

The talk is sponsored by AUNE’s Student Alliance and the Advocacy for Sustainability and Social Justice concentration. Refreshments will be offered.
