2nd Annual Alumni Reunion Scheduled For September 28-29

YELLOW SPRINGS, OH–Antioch University Midwest Alumni Association is hosting its 2nd Annual Alumni Reunion scheduled for September 28-29, 2012.

Reconnect. Reflect. Renew. The weekend begins with Friday’s President’s Reception, hosted by Interim President Dr. Ellen Hall. New Antioch University Chancellor of Antioch University, Felice Nudelman, will be the special guest.

The weekend schedule will feature:

  • Career focused workshops
  • Info Session for Costa Rica Trip, March 2013
  • WYSO – tours and collection of audio alumni testimonials
  • Networking
  • National Issues Forum: “Shaping Our Future – How Should Higher Education Help Us Create the Society We Want?”
  • “When Worlds Collide: The untold story of the Americas after Columbus.” (a documentary and discussion with Dr. Jim Malarkey)

International Day of Forests

“If you love a tree, you will be more beautiful than before!” – Amit Ray.

This year, the theme for the International Day of Forests, “Forests and Health,” is an invitation and an opportunity to reflect on what these expansive ecosystems do for us and how we can, in turn, serve them through conservation, species preservation, mindful nutrition, and ecological awareness.
